Vol. 10 [UTAKA News] Social Committee Meeting

On the evening of July 16, our alumni association’s Social Committee gathered for a meeting at Goose Island in Gangnam, Seoul.
The meeting was led by Haesung "David" Chung (MBA ’17), Chair of the Social Committee and Vice President of the alumni association, with all committee members in attendance. The gathering was also open to members of the association’s leadership outside the Social Committee, and two additional officers joined the meeting.
The group discussed the wide range of networking events that the Social Committee will oversee this year.
- From Texas Hold’em Night on August 6 and a running event on October 25 to the year-end concert, regular First Thursday gatherings, and other events such as volunteer activities, members exchanged ideas, developed operating plans, and shared updates on their respective responsibilities.
Over a delicious spread of seafood salad, pizza, chicken wings, and drinks, the group also enjoyed lively conversations about their recent activities and personal interests as well as the Egen–Teto personality typology, further strengthening the committee’s sense of connection and teamwork.

A full calendar of enjoyable and meaningful events is planned for the remainder of the year, and we hope many alumni will join us.
