Vol. 3 [UTAKA News] UT MBA Students and Korean Alumni Hold Welcome Dinner in Seoul
- On the evening of March 09, the first night of their visit to Korea through “the Global Connections” program, the University of Texas at Austin (UT) MBA students and Korean alumni gathered for a welcome dinner.
- The dinner was organized by alumni in Korea to welcome UT MBA students visiting Korea under the guidance of Professor Ari Kang and was open to both UT MBA alumni and other UT alumni.
- Prominent alumni—including fellow alumnus Heejip Kim (MBA ’87), President John Kim (PGE ’05), Haesung “David” Chung (MBA ’17) and Chan H. Lee of Petra Capital Management (UTIMCO)—attended the dinner to greet the visiting students. Throughout the evening, attendees shared conversations and spent time reconnecting while strengthening ties within the global UT alumni community.
- Event organizers expressed hope that “even more MBA alumni will join us next year to welcome the next generation of alumni,” encouraging continued participation and engagement.
