Vol. 3 [Lifestyle] Skincare Picks for Dry Spring Days
The editor-in-chief, who has sensitive and dehydrated oily (moisture-deficient oily) skin, shares the skincare products she uses to maintain hydration. None of the products mentioned below are sponsored or affiliated with advertisements. 😊
Facial Moisturizers
(The first two moisturizers can also be used on the body.)

- Zeroid Intensive Cream
-Known for its lightweight finish that does not feel greasy.
-Despite the light texture, it provides excellent hydration. I began using it on the recommendation of a dermatologist and has continued using it since.
- Physiogel Red Soothing AI Repair Cream
-Slightly more emollient than the Zeroid cream, but less greasy than Physiogel’s blue-line cream.
-Highly moisturizing and soothing for my skin, which responds well to olive oil.

- Missha Glow Skin Balm To Go Mist
-Said to be a mist version of the popular Missha Glow Skin Balm, known for helping makeup apply well.
-Provides both hydration and makeup-setting effects. Compared with Aestura Cream Mist, it feels less greasy while still delivering a dewy level of moisture. (Although Aestura Cream Mist is very popular, it unfortunately did not suit my skin and caused irritation.)
-Affordable and easy to purchase.
-The fragrance is quite strong.

- Chanel Baume Essentiel Transparent
-Originally a highlighter, but it contains no shimmer and creates a clear, natural glow.
-Not just visually dewy — it actually provides hydration. I find it soothing when skin feels dry, creased, or cracked.
Sunscreen

- La Roche-Posay Uvidea Anthelios Melt-In Cream SPF 50+ PA++++
-Provides excellent sun protection.
-Colorless and transparent on the skin rather than giving an ambiguous tone-up effect, which suits my personal preference.
-Very moisturizing.
-Quite pricey.
Lip Balm

- Daiso Unilever Vaseline Original Protecting Jelly
-Easy to find at Daiso and other retailers, and very affordable.
-Contains 100% petrolatum, which helps seal in moisture effectively.
-Those who do not tolerate petrolatum well should use caution.
- Sidmool Jojoba Lip Essence Original
-Affordable.
-Leaves lips looking smooth, glossy, and more refined, minimizing the appearance of lip lines.
-Provides decent hydration.
- Bepanthol Day Care Lipstick
- Bepanthol Lip Cream
-Bepanthol products are available both at Olive Young and pharmacies and are recommended for those whose skin responds well to panthenol.
-The Bepanthol Lip Cream has a white formula that can appear saliva-like, making it inconvenient for use outside. I therefore use the lip cream at night, while the solid lipstick version — which does not leave a white cast — works better for daytime use.
Facial Masks

- Daiso Medipeel Modeling Mask (Lacto Pore Lifting / Water-Tox Radiance Moisture)
-Purchased based on a dermatologist’s recommendation. Although the brand is also sold at Olive Young, these particular products are available at a better price at Daiso.
-Sheet masks do not suit my very sensitive skin, so I prefer modeling masks. You can add 8 spoonfuls of water to the powder in the container and mix. Each package contains a single-use portion, which makes it convenient.
Hand Cream

- Daiso Unilever Vaseline Intensive Care All-Purpose Cream
- Daiso Unilever Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hand & Stronger Nail Lotion
-Both products are Unilever’s Vaseline brand hand creams/lotions available at Daiso and are very affordable.
-The hand lotion on the right has a very strong fragrance.
Foot Cream
- Lush Foot Balm Repeat (REPEAT)
-I could not include a photo because I discarded the product after use, but it is a very thick, transparent orange foot balm.
-Extremely moisturizing and very effective at softening dry or rough skin on the feet.
-However, the product has a short shelf life after opening and tends to transfer or stain surfaces orange, so it is best applied in small amounts with socks worn afterward.
Hair Essences / Oils

- Glampalm Hair Essence Oil Black
-Provides strong hydration and is said to offer heat protection.
-I particularly like the baobab oil ingredient and was satisfied with this product.

- Aveda Nutriplenish Leave-In Conditioner
-If hair oils feel too heavy, sticky, or incompatible with the skin, a leave-in conditioner like this can be a good alternative.
-However, because it is a spray type, it did not suit me, as I prefer not to spray products into the air. I am also unsure whether the moisturizing effect is particularly strong.
- NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil
-A non-comedogenic product that can be used on hair, face, and body.
-Has a pleasant fragrance.
