  • We started the year strong, with our first “First Thursday” gathering on the evening of February 5.
  • The event was hosted by Soojin Park (GOV ’21) and John Kim (PGE ’05).

  • This time the hosts added a little extra fun with games and prizes.
    • One highlight was a “minority vote balance game,” built around shared memories of UT, Texas, and life in Austin.
    • The quiz sparked plenty of personal stories, which naturally led to deeper conversations and meaningful exchanges.

  • The event took place in a quiet, cozy setting.
  • The gathering felt welcoming and relaxed. It was especially nice to see first-time attendees join in comfortably.
